• Atlantic Beach Club of Westport 2023 Beach Regulations

​

• PASSES MUST BE DISPLAYED ON YOUR DASHBOARD OR REARVIEW MIRROR AT ALL TIMES (Failure to comply with this rule will result in the vehicle being towed).

• It is your responsibility to inform your guests of the rules of your club.

• There is no lifeguard on duty at any time; use the facilities at your own risk.

• PER WESTPORT TOWN BY-LAWS, THERE ARE NO DOGS OR OTHER PETS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH.

• The speed limit in the parking area is 5 mph.

• Only two (2) Beach (parking) Passes per full membership, one (1) per half membership.

• Guests of members must arrive in the same vehicle as the members. No additional vehicles allowed without a valid pass.

• There is a $30.00 replacement fee for any lost beach pass or for each remote.

• Memberships may not be transferred or assigned by members.

• Absolutely no grilling of any kind on any deck of the bathhouses at any time and no open fires anywhere on the property. Any grills used must be propane, not charcoal.

• No smoking on bathhouse decks.

• There is no camping or overnight stays at the beach.

• Safety is our primary concern: Parents are responsible for the conduct and safety of their children and guests. No sitting on the railings of deck. No running on decks. No throwing rocks or sand on any part of the property.

• No glass bottles or containers allowed on the property.

• Changing will be in assigned lockers only, not in bathrooms.

• No firearms, ammunition or explosives/incendiaries/fireworks on the property.

• No one under the age of 18 shall be allowed on the premises if not accompanied by a person 21 or older.

• Vehicles should be kept locked at all times. The operators are not responsible for losses of valuables.

• Kindly wrap soiled diapers and such before depositing in trash. Ask attendant for a bag if needed. Toilet paper is the only product to be flushed in toilets!

• Be sure shower and sink faucets are turned off completely after each use.

• Please use safe practices when using showers and bath facilities.

• Please observe and respect neighboring private property and no trespass signs.

• If you have a bath house with a lock, you must only use a rust resistant lock in order to avoid staining from the locks rusting. Please secure your locker before leaving each day.

• Please use the walking paths when entering onto the beach.

• Respect the privacy of the occupants of the two houses on the property.
